Michael J. Martin, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bellwether Behavioral Health in June of 2016. His industry experience spans more than 30 years, most recently he was Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Board member of RainTree Oncology Services. RainTree Oncology was engaged in the business of providing services to community oncology pharmacies and physician practices. RainTree was successfully purchased by Cardinal Health in February 2016. He served as President of International Oncology Network, a division of AmerisourceBergen, from 2005 to 2009.His prior experience exemplifies his broad healthcare expertise – having served as Chief Executive Officer of Tensys Medical Corporation, a venture-backed medical device company focused on non-invasive blood pressure monitoring systems, and as Executive Vice President at Premier, the country’s largest health system Group Purchasing Organization. Mr. Martin also previously held senior executive management positions at General Electric Medical Systems. Mr. Martin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from West Liberty State College, West Virginia.
Mark Donati was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Bellwether Behavioral Health in October of 2016. Mark comes to Bellwether Behavioral Health with a broad background in healthcare operations over the past 25 years, most recently as the Northeast Group Vice President of Operations for Fresenius Medical Care, where he managed over 500 sites of service for the world’s largest dialysis company. Prior to Fresenius, Mark was a founding member and principal of Ambulatory Services of America, which owned and operated over 100 centers providing dialysis and radiation oncology services across the US from 2006 through 2013. Mark has served in a number of senior management roles in both Acute Hospitals and within Inpatient Rehabilitation. Mark earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration from LaSalle University and a BS in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, both in Philadelphia.
Kyle P. Bailey, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August of 2016. He joined the Bellwether Behavioral Health team in 2011 as a founding member of the corporate fiscal team and assisted in establishing a strong accounting structure. In 2013, Kyle was promoted to the role of Finance Manager where he facilitated the development of organization-wide financial reporting and budget process. His fiscal experience earned him the title of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in 2014. In this role Kyle lead financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Kyle earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware.
Thomas S. Papa was appointed Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs in January of 2016. Prior to joining AdvoServ, Tom spent 13 years with the State of New Jersey, the first 5 working in the Treasurer’s Office of Management and Budget and the last 8 working for executive management in the State’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). During his time at DDD, Tom served as Chief of Staff and Deputy Division Director, overseeing all fiscal, contracting, information technology, and human resource functions of the $1.9 billion Division. Tom was a integral member of the Division’s policy team responsible for design and implementation of the multi-year system transformation moving providers and service delivery from cost reimbursement to a standardized fee-for-service model. Tom is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey with various public accounting experience, including Arthur Andersen LLP in Philadelphia and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
Katherine joined Bellwether Behavioral Health’s team in 2006 as the Program Director in Delaware, and has over 15 years’ experience in the behavioral health industry. Katherine took on the responsibility of managing the Workers’ Compensation program in 2012, as Director of Safety & Risk Management. In 2013, Katherine was appointed Corporate Human Resources Director, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources. Katherine holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College in English & Psychology, and a master’s degree in Counseling from Indiana University.
