State Program Directors

Greg Harrison, MA, Virginia State Director

Greg joined the Bellwether Behavioral Health team in 1988 as a therapist and educational coordinator in the Florida program. He was appointed the Florida Program Director in 1990 and the Delaware Director in 1996. With an accumulated 27 years’ experience in multiple domains of program operation and various leadership roles. Greg holds bachelors and master’s degrees in special education from Appalachian State University.

Christopher B. Mathews, Florida State Director

Christopher became Bellwether Behavioral Health’s Florida State Director in September of 2016.  He brings over 11 years of experience in managing and implementing healthcare services. Prior to joining Bellwether Behavioral Health, he served as Program Manager for the Veterans Administration (VA) Boston Healthcare System, a level 1a 632 bed healthcare system. His responsibilities included management of operations for off-hours patient admissions, enrollment, eligibility, and contract services for Non-VA Care Coordination business units at major teaching campuses across Eastern Massachusetts. From 2006-2014, he served in multiple healthcare administration leadership roles including Senior Strategic Analyst for the Air Force Surgeon General’s Strategy Group at Defense Health Headquarters where he helped implement health care programs affecting 2.6M patient beneficiaries and 60,000 health care employees.  He has served as Chief of Business Operations at the Pentagon’s Tricare Health Clinic and Hospital Administrator at the 4th largest Air Force hospital (Eglin, AFB), managing cross functional medical teams towards eliminating barriers in healthcare processes. He previously held financial management positions at Citigroup and Fidelity Investments. Mr. Mathews earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from Fordham University, New York.
